Thanks, I think for the money I want to spend, the facelift 3.0d will be the one to look out for.. Looking for auto, I'm not really a lover of changing gear
I'm based in North Yorkshire, if anyone local has one for sale 

Having just sold my TD6 L322, now thinking of trying an X5 (probably 54/55 3.0d)

Can anyone tell me - do they have hi/lo box? Hill descent control (or equivalent) ?

I think It would be either diesel or 4.4. I got £12.5k for my Range Rover, but ideally I would like to spend 1/2 that, and free up a bit of cash 

Do you think I'll manage to get anything for that price ?

Just saying hello...  looking to maybe buy an X5, and thought this might be a good place to start learning 

My last car was a L322 TD6 - so quite a bit in common  ::)
