Just plugged code reader in and got P0500 which comes up as speed sensor.
Where abouts is this sensor??

Hi all. Car is a 2001 4.4v8. Been driving fine all day. Parked up for 2 hours this evening and driving back home in auto mode it now wont move up out of 1st gear. Try in in manual mode and only gears that lighton on lcd are 4 and 5. Doesnt seem be making any strange noises and no error codes ...

UPDATE. Right bit of a strange one. Whilst driving the ful gauge doesnt go down. If i look on the obc the display is showing the correct amount of fuel in both side tank (have measured fuel etc) Now if i turn the ignition off and back on again the needle then moves to the correct level. It just ...

Ive had a few probs with the fuel gauge / running out of petrol. Its a 2001 4.4v8 To start with the needle would go no lower than 1/4 showing 50mile range and run out of petrol. on the obc it would show as 0litres on lhs side of tank Took it in to my local indy and along with other work diagnosed ...

Ive got a full grey leather interior for sale. Both front seats, rear seats, and 4 door cards. Seats all heated and work fine. All in good nick apart from wear on drivers bolster. Problem solved. Found i had faulty jump cables (no continutity throught pos lead) bought some heavy duty cables and connected it to the van. Left an running for 10mins get some charge through. x5 started first time and is running at 13.8v. Took car for a spin and doesnt seem be any probs. Have ...

Update.
Just got home from work and measured the voltage. 11.2v sitting and 10.8v with ignition on. Now obviously this is too low, at this voltage would it be too low to even get the starter motor kicking in?

Hi all. Went to start the car (2001 4.4v8) and wouldnt start. Dorrs unlocked ok and ignition comes on on ok, no warning lights etc. All i hear is one click then nothing. Starter doesnt kick in and engine doesnt crank. Tried jumping it off the connections under bonnet but still same. Didnt have time ...
