Re: Moving On
Looks like the wife's Leaf is going back. He said he would be on to us with the next great deal, not heard anything yet. Might drop him a line. Anyway we are 6k per year and she is under that just, so all good. Apart from the fact I had to get the back quarter sprayed as four cameras not enough for ...

Re: Moving On
Don, just wanted to say thanks. Car arrived on 27thSept and don't think we have ever enjoyed a car as much. So much so that I sold the X5 yesterday. It has made me more aware of the damage I have been doing running the Diesel. Not turning into a tree hugger, but just being a little more thoughtful ...

Re: 22" wheels possible issue- rubbing noise
To add my 2 cents worth. It looks damn good. As for the brake disk dust shields. I had a problem with one of mine rubbing suffered for two weeks then the other started doing same. Spoke to a mechanic from BMW, who told me to cut them off and chuck them away as they are a bad design and prone to ...

Headlight Washer fault
So as the title says, my headlight washers are staying out every time I scoosh my lights. They pop up and scoosh but don't go down. I have to push then down. No amount of WD40 has made the situation better.
Any thoughts on a fix?????

Yes that's the one. The Leaf is fitted with a Type 1 socket, the type 2 socket is the standard so a type 2 plug required for fast chargers. Rapid chargers are already fitted with a cable and suitable plug.

Thanks Don.

Re: Moving On
Struggling to register for Leaf Talk, it won't allow me. Fill in the fields then nothing happens on second page. Tried other computers but just the same, thought it might be a mac thing.
Was wondering about the best home charger point to get. Any advice appreciated.

Re: 20" RFT poor ride quality
Just changed my rear 315/35/20's from Bridgestone Dueller Rf to Dunlop RF's. Very happy with change. Feels like the sidewalls are so much softer, much less jarring IMO. Paid £560 fitted for the pair. Will change to Dunlops on front when those Bridgestone wear out.

Re: BW Chiptune remap on my 3.0d
[quote="mobilejo"] I called Jason last night and decided to pull the trigger on a remap for my 2007 e70 ASAP after speaking to him. He is very knowledgeable and professional and you know your car is in good hands with him. I went to one of his agents' premises (Rick of Autotune in Telford) today and ...

Re: Traction Control Issue
So I put on two Accelera IOTA XL 315/35 R20 110 W instead of Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport 315/35 R20 110 W and the traction control hated it. Why when the specs seem to marry up according to Oponeo??????????? Had to go back to the Bridgestones for it to run normal again.
