Also one other thing to try - its free! Is the soft gearbox adaption reset if you haven't already tried it?

Mine only used to due to it after along motorway drive or a countryside spirited drive. I found putting it into neutral or DS just before coming to a halt stopped it from lurching.

I had this issue too. Changing the fluid and filter didn't help. Neither did a gearbox software update.
If its going its going. Worst case you are looking @ is a gearbox rebuild (£1200-£2500 depending on where you go). I had mine done at £1200 from a transmission specialist in London. A filter and ...

Try a live data check via INPA or DIS on the steering angle sensor to see if it is 'out of range'

Check the plug definitely as sometimes you get issues with the earth connection on it, but also try bending the contacts on the bulb holder slightly (2 metal prongs) to make a better connection onto the cluster itself. sometimes they don't quite touch.
