People do still ask, usually to see if you'll give it away!

Re: On the verge of buying a pre-lci X5 SE
Probably not too much to worry about if it has approved used warranty, just make sure it's past is clear. In a shameless plug, you could bid on my LCI model, if it's within your budget. Also comes with AUC warranty.

Re: Time to move on! Now selling
No, in my experience eBay users will view only if they win. It's not an issue, if a car doesn't fit description or looks dodgy then you walk away, same as any other sale. Slightly better than auto trader in that respect as descriptions tend to be exaggerated there, whilst eBay are more accurate (on ...

Re: Sat nav
If it's appearing in the idrive then it should be present? Are sure it isn't a fault? I once fitted sat nav to a non nav 6 series (2004) . It was actually really easy to do, just swapped the computer behind the dash for one with nav and it appeared in the idrive. No coding or anything. I routed the ...

Re: Seat stitching help!
I had a leather panel replaced on a previous 3 series. It only cost about £100, so stitching should be simple. Google upholsterers in your area.

Brakes international are great and provide most motor factors with their brake stock, but will sell direct to public.

Re: top gear
Top gear still has its moments. How the feck they justify TWO 'best of' series 19 episodes is beyond me. It was only about 6 episodes in total!
I wouldn't mind if it was on itv or free view, but they're making us pay for this shite!

Re: Chip Tuning Diesel Performance Box
Theres an article and test on chip boxes in one of this months BMW mags (i read it in the shop while waiting for Mrs). I've got one fitted to my E70 at the moment and they do what they claim to do, increase BHP, torque and improve MPG. It added 9mpg to mine on a recent long motorway run (see my ...

Re: Driven today..........2002 Range Rover L322 4.4 V8
I've owned 5 of these but think they are now starting to look a bit dated. They aren't as well built as the e53 but outmatch it on equipment and luxury (if it all works). I hate to say it but of I were choosing between the two I'd go for the RR. I think the e70 though, is an all round better car ...

To be honest, it was that easy I wouldnt bother a body shop unless it was almost free. They were really easy to paint and the finish is perfect. Just gotta keep the paint can moving!

I agree with the comments that suggest it is the bastard son of a full fat range rover and an Evoque.
I don't hate it, but wouldn't buy one that was the colour of burnt ginger pubes.....
