Ok here's the update. The squeak was eventually traced to the large bolt that connects through the lower wish bone behind the rear wheel carrier. It was squeaking inside the carrier as the wishbone flexed up and down, plenty of WD 40 later and no more squeak..... I've now got a complete lower ...

Im quite happy to change the rear ball joint or the bushings or even the rear springs. BUT i dont want to change things on a guess or unnecessarily, id rather confirm whats is causing the noise and rectify that, before the squeaking drives me mad....... :blink: Its reminding me of driving a horse ...

I've read previous threads about this and checked the upper control arms which seems to cause suspension squeaks and creaks. I'd like to freshen the front up with some new lights with Halos.
