If the LPG tank is a donut shape its shouldnt be to hard to loosen lift and then isolate the battery?

4 years in I think and the BRC system is running very sweetly....Nearing 100k miles now to. Ive tried both plugs and either seem to make no difference to how the car runs.

Had my 4.4 facelift for 4 years, came with an LPG (BRC) system and touch wood hasn't missed a beat, £45 to fill up and get 200+ miles, a no brainer.

Thought I'd 'quip" in my X5 4.4 has the BRC setup, it was installed years ago before I bought it and Ive owned this car for 2 years now. So far all seems well with it, no problems when booting it. You'll need to factor in an annual lpg service (£90 ish) but other than that its a very good system and ...
