Re: Any Suggestions for Aftermarket Headlight Units?

Just to add mate I used FK last month to buy my LED taillights and am more than happy with tha qualoty/fitment. Every Friday they reduce the prices by a fair bit, so might be worth checking back this Friday and see how much the lights are then? I think they were reduced to £194 or so last week ...

Re: Any Suggestions for Aftermarket Headlight Units?

I'm also on the lookout for the same! Want something that will look a bit more modern without looking cheap and tacky like some units I've seen. Any recommendations?

Sorry to jump on your thread mate, saves me starting another one the same  :)

19" E70 alloys and tyres, also fit E53**SOLD**

Just fitted 20" wheels to my X5 so no need for these any more. Nice upgrade or to use as winter wheels.

Genuine BMW 19" alloys as fitted to E70 shape X5s. Had them fitted to my E53 X5 by using some spigot rings which cost about £5. Some minor kerbing as shown in pictures, but all straight with no ...

Re: My LPG'd X5 3.0i Sport

Very nearly correct ^^^^

Actually 20" replicas. They were so cheap I couldn't say no, especially considering the tread and make of all the tyres. But yes they were fitted to an E70. Nothing a set of spigot rings didn't sort out  :)

Re: My LPG'd X5 3.0i Sport

Yep, that's taking the price difference into account. To put it another way, £49 fills the gas tank and I'm getting just under 300 miles to a tank doing a 48 mile round trip to Belfast everyday all on motorways doing about 50/60mph.

Had never really considered gas before, but I'm converted now ...

Any chance of pics of the LPG conversion setup.

Will take some tomorrow for you, but its not pretty! Just a big tank that takes up a lot of boot space, but I'm looking into getting it moved to the spare wheel well.

Few wee updates in the past few weeks. Fitted ...

Re: Revs fluctuating while coasting?

Thanks for the advice there,  not a bad idea with the easy start! Will give it a go tomorrow if a visual inspection doesnt give anything away.

And yes, sorry should have said. It's a 2002 3.0i Sport which has been LPG'd, will update my signature to reflect this now  :)

Revs fluctuating while coasting?

Been trying to do a bit of research on this today but haven't confirmed anything yet so was wondering if anyone else had suffered the same?

Basically the car is fine while driving along, revs stay where they should etc, but when I let off the throttle to start slowing down, once the revs get to a ...

Re: Kidney Grills

I've just ordered from this site here as they're having some mind of closing down sale. The prices get dropped even further every Friday for the duration of the weekend. Think my all black kidney grilles were £33, though haven't fitted them yet.

Re: My LPG'd X5 3.0i Sport

Certainly was Fermanagh, good spot! We'd already planned the weekend away, just got lucky that I was picking the X5 up the same day so thought we'd take it down for a spin. Brilliant scenery and took it round the forest park pictured above, though didn't venture too far off road as I'm very aware it ...

My LPG'd X5 3.0i Sport

Here's a few pics of my first X5. This is my 85th car(like to chop and change) and my first 4x4. Got it ridiculously cheap as it came with a few small niggles but I enjoy tinkering about in the garage so am slowly fixing them. Really loving it so far, and very easy to run on the LPG.
Reason for ...
