Maybe a cracked manifold my brother as the same problem (he’s got a e53) as been diagnosed as that.

I think you’ve got to give him a chance to fix it then if it’s not done correctly you can reject it and get a full refund.

30 days warranty should be at least 90 days if it’s the one for you pay a deposit or some of the balance with a credit card your covered then.
