Re: Best deals around
Well I'm in no hurry really. I'm offshore right now but back next week and will call in to the dealer to have a chat. Looked online and can see some "nearly" cars on the used car section of BMW site but there aren't many cars with tow bar, third row seating, adaptive headlights pro sound etc but ...

Best deals around
HI Guys I'm 90% sure I'm going to bite the bullit and order a new X5. BMWs first offer seems good with a 5700 discount and an APR of 4.? percent on PCP. Does anyone know any forum friendly dealers who can beat that. Also wondering what the lead time is for a new car right now? I would ask the edaler ...

FS 2004 X5 3.0D Sport
Time to sell my X5! Can no longer justify it as we have moved in town where parking is at a premium. Advert says I am in Isle of lewis but we have actually moved top Elgin but pistonheads ad wont let me change it as i haven't changed my credit card address yet. Sterling grey with grey exclusive ...

Where to buy torx set
Hi guys
I am trying to take my armrest apart to check my Bluetooth connections but my torx set is too fat. It's an interchangeable set.
My local suppliers have non small enough. Can anyone recommend a good set for me. When I search all sets seem to start at t10!
Thanks
Finnie

Re: 4.6is genuine BMW alloys for sale
Hi. I'm at completely the opposite end of the country (as in hebrides on the west coast of scotlands!) and am considering making you an offer but only if you would be interested in packing the wheels up so i can arrange a courier to pick them up. How would you feel about that?

Re: First mod of 2011..
Cheers again all. It certainly is in need of a decent clean. The ride is much firmer but not uncomfortable. Tbh it's nowhere near as boneshaking as a 996 turbo.
Do you have a 996 turbo too Raj?? Just wondering cause i do too! Sold the M5 and the cat for the X5 and the 911 ...

Re: Blasted Bluetooth Module....
Thats the thing, how do I know the button is working, I don't think it's used for anything else!
There is the same symbol on the wheel buttong but i don't think that will induce bluetooth pairing mode anyway.

Re: Euro car parts
Decidedto have a look on C3 BMW and found them at 78 each or so. Thought that was a decent price, not too cheap but not BMW rip off prices. We'll see how they go!

Re: Euro car parts
Given the miles I think changing the entire wishbone is the way to go, but my question is weather I should use ECP or spend nearly double the money on the BMW item? The issue is that I have a wobble in my braking at medium pedal pressures, see the thread about steering wobble under braking. That ...

Euro car parts
I need two new wishbones for the X5. BMW are quoting 380 for the parts but it seems Euro car parts are less than 200. The car is 2004 with 80000 miles, which should I go for?

Re: High Speed Braking Vibration - Warped Discs?
I emailed cotswold BMW today who do a discount for BMWland members but the price was still £400 for the left and right wishbones. Part No 10.
Anyone know if there is anywhere I can get them a bit cheaper??
Thanks
Finnie
