Hi, I've got a 2012 X5 with OEM iPod connector. Every now and then the iPod loses connection. It appears the iPod freezes and can only be switched off by resetting it. Then the connection re establishes itself. Local BMW want it in for 'testing' which is a pain. Tried other iPods and same thing ...

Well I'd like my M50d badge changed then- X5d M sounds better!

The BMW approved site has taken to calling the M50d an X5d M. Confusingly the new cars are still called M50d
Are they that clueless about the names of their own models or are they trying to make them sound more 'M like' I wonder?

Hi. I'm having no luck in getting the radio to switch automatically to FM when it loses the DAB signal. I've ticked the relevant box in the options menu but no luck. Just goes quiet and 'no signal' till it returns. Anyone have any ideas if I need to do something else? Equivalent system on my old S4 ...

Weird, got 3wk old X5. Says latest update 1005 as opposed to 1006

When re paired, only offered to pair as telephone. Set messages filter to 'all messages'. iPhone 4S. Is that correct?
