Re: Strange sound from front of car
If the sound is like a humming from the interior heating water pump, very faint when radio is low. it does sound like mine and i was told this was normal when I took a BMW mechanic out for a listen. After doing a bit of research on google it does seem to be a very common BMW problem, I'd be ...

Re: IPhone 5 using 8 to 30 pin adapter
I only play the music that's stored on my iPhone, the 8 to 30 pin converter has sorted this out.

IPhone 5 using 8 to 30 pin adapter
Could anyone tell me whether a 8 to 30 pin lightning adapter will work with my bmw Y cable I currently use for my 3GS to play music through my idrive?
I'm planning an iPhone 5 and don't want any issues in my 2009 car.
Thanks in advance
Michael.

Re: Light upgrade
I have the LUX V3 and they are very bright, infact I'd say on par with the LCI even in daylight. I did a lot of research and can't say a bad word about them. Was less than 5 mins per light very easy, not any harder than changing a normal lamp. Not exactly cheap but in my view worth it

Re: High Performance Winter Tire
Thanks Richard, I think I may go for the 285's as it's not much more for them and I'm getting a discount from my insurance over they winter months down sizing to the 19's.
Cheers

Re: High Performance Winter Tire
Has anyone put 285 wide winter rears on? I have some staggered 19 inch m sport wheels to use for winter but unsure to go for smaller rears or stick with the original size. We usually get quite deep snow each winter.
Thanks,
Michael.
Thanks,
Michael.

Re: Early days looking for an X5
My personal choice would be to go for more options in a slightly older car, while looking for a replacement car I found a 2010 car with few extras for the same price as my 2009 m sport but I liked the idea of camera, elec boot, etc. I found it hard to spend a lot of money on a car that didn't have ...
