I had terrible wobble through the steering wheel under braking. Had Item 10 on the diagram replaced and all is well.

So car just back from garage and all is well! Item 10 was replaced on offside front and similar control arm with balljoint replaced on offside rear. Also had handbrake adjusted and an MOT. Yes that makes sense and he is not too far away. It also sounds a little "fluffy" at low revs, so a remap session, may also identify any other issues.
