average 33mpg (mostly short trips)  ;  best 40mpg. (long trip)

For info roof limit 100kg, BMW cross bars £155, and a bit easier to install than the old X5 as no tools required.

Have you purchased some bars - I have some BMW  for sale if still required.

Any recommendations on roof bar for the F15?  I have noticed that most non oem bars have a 75kg limit where the BMW ones are 100kg.

We never got to play with a Q7 as the dealer was rubbish, booked a test drive then kept us waiting for 3/4 of an hour. Well, we left after this time as it looked like it was going to be longer. Never mind I think we got the better car.

I've recently bought the blackvue 400 HD II via a group buy on another car forum (Briskoda) and it was very easy to setup and use. They did have the 500 as well but couldn't justify the extra cost.

Ours 3.0dxdrive is currently averaging 31.5mpg. Worst tank full was 24.6mpg when it was used for short journeys for a month. Several other companies have quoted £600ish.
