Re: My BMW X5, Now Sorted and with pics.

Not yet buddy! :-( super busy at work so I know I wont have a minute. It isn't stopping me from slevering over adverts though!

I've been looking at e60 5 series too as I've had a 5 series since I was 19! so kind of used to them.

Decisions!!!

Re: Possible X5's?

Thanks for the comments guys!
I think the interior and the lights on the blue one are horrendous, black with black leather is a far nicer combo, the wooden trim and cream leather be hard to live with IMO, more of an old boys interior tbh
I guess it's all personal taste eh ...

Re: Possible X5's?

I would probably say 10k max - i see some lower mileage one's around 75k - 80k but you're worried they've been clocked?

Re: Possible X5's?

Haha ..the 6 speed changer is a real pull...must be a rare option eh? I don't think I am too bothered about mileage ...from what I read I could still buy one wi 40k and still have problems, where one with higher miles may have hard any issues resolved, that's the way I see it anyway. Plus as I am ...

Possible X5's?

Hi chaps, Just wondered what you thought of these Xers? I'm not saying they're perfect, but if i look at them first hand i like them. They're both autos and i'm looking at them in terms of looks right now, ideally i'd have a manual but I can see I might win the euro millions before finding a manual ...

Re: Hello!

Thanks Raj - I know what you mean and I do like autos it was just to try and avoid any gearbox problems. Richard - I have a 525 a few years ago which was an auto, it was fine and good in morning traffic, but you can't beat the manual for me. Maybe it's the way it delivers with my current 5 and it's ...

Re: E53 width including mirrors

Wow thats great! X5encyclopedia here! :-) It'll be tight to get it in to my courtyard . I have to drive under my house to get in you see, I have this arch way with big gates and it's 2.2m wide, so it'll just fit. The 5 series, Freelander and the other halfs beetle are no probs but was a bit worried ...

Re: Hello!

Thanks for the welcome buddy! Nice line up you have yourself! so they don't even offer the manual option anymore on the new X5 and X6? I am determined i'll get a manual e53 though, there's must be a decent ish one out there. To be honest I'd have a 3.0 - 4.8 petrol but I want it to be semi ...

Hello!

Hi X5 People! ;) I'm currently thinking of an X5 as my next car. I'd be looking at the E53 model as a possibility in 3.0d Sport guise. I want to source a manual model also although I do know these are harder to find, I think i'd prefer the less hassle I might get with a non autobox. Plus I like ...
