BMW X5 E53 - FAULT CODE 05 - AIRBAG

Hi All
Can anyone give me a solution to fix this fault.
Annoyingly whilst sorting the car (Betsy) out for an mot and just doing the odd job around it I put the passengers front door window down and then it wouldn't go back up. Now if I had googled it it would of taken me a matter of minutes to get ...

Which Diagnostic Scanner will perform the ABS Bleeding sequence.

Greydog wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 8:11 am Last evening I spoke with my neighbour who has iCarsoft
It will indeed activate the ABS Pump we plugged it in and tried it on his 330i and my X5 E70
It is iCarsoft V2 for BMW so specific, hope this is of some use
Cheers Greydog it's very much appreciated

Which Diagnostic Scanner will perform the ABS Bleeding sequence.

Hi, from what you have mentioned the BMW 1.4.0 is the most cost effective and cheapest tool to get the ABS bleeding done on my vehicle. Although this unit, I assume will only carry out the diagnostics etc on BMW vehicles only, is this correct?
I am interested in the BMW 1.4.0 because of how cheap ...

Identification of Plug Needed

I only do about 100- miles or so in her a year, and even left her parked up the last 12-month, but she's very comfortable, fun to drive with that 4.6 m62 engine, and if I were to get rid, I'll easily have to put my hand in my pocket for +25k just for it to be another, as my wife keeps telling me ...

Identification of Plug Needed

No probs many thanks for having a look about for me, I found the part in the side cubby-hole so I think it was surplus to requirements.
Going to get the old girl mot'd next week, I've had her 12yrs now and she's done 96500-ish , and now in a deelemer what to do with her, I don't know whether to get ...

there might be a thread ...

Cheers all for the input
Marti, great idea, will try this out once the evil-bay £11 one drops out, I'd say give it 6mths only because that door barely gets used lol

Repair to reinstate the two locking lugs to the external door handle

Does anyone know of a successful repair to reinstate the two locking lugs to the external door handle, as shown in photo.
I know you can get oem from £40 +p&p primer finish or painted to paint code around £160 +p&p, but if there's a fix worth trying I'd like to repair this existing part as it's a ...
