I used GP Thunder 8500k that I bought off an eBay seller in the US. It's the H8 bulb on my E70 with Xenons but I Think they vary. They give a very nice white light but aren't as bright as the original bulbs during the day. Here is pics of mines, original on the right and GP Thunders on the left ...

I got them from a seller Justpal on eBay. I just checked and they are very dull in daylight but look better at night.

X5Sport they are 8500 I went for.

I would either grind down an old one if you have one or try getting vice grips onto it.

Sounds like a CV joint. Does the clicking become more rapid if u speed up through the corner?

Yeah mines is an 08 plate so will Have the older idrive. I hate BMW showrooms, I went in to pick it up and ended up in about all the brand new X5s and M5s lol. The wife was having a heart attack.

Agreed with above plus was it a proper 4 wheel alignment that was carried out before? A lot of garages I have worked in have all the equipment but most mechanics only know how to do front wheel alignment I.e toe in and toe out. When it comes to rear camber they are clueless.
