Thanks libra007 fitting was fairly easy a real pita getting the sticky sealant off though and I had to rewire one of the ISO connectors as the rust had welded the socket into the light cluster but now they are in and work at treat with no coding needed they are marelli 2006 - 2010 lights if any else ...

Could someone give me some info regarding rear lights
I have ordered a new set of rear inner light clusters as my old ones was letting water in but the ones I've ordered are marelli led ones, are they a direct plug and play and will they make my car think that the bulbs have blown because mine is a pre facelift with normal bulbs? Thanks in advance Gaz

Hi yes I mean the whole inner light unit/cluster it looks horrible inside where water has been sitting was just thinking now I have the expense of replacing the entire units it might be better to go for the lci units if they are a direct fit

Rear inner lights nackered
So sent the e70 in for an inspection and found that both rear inner lights have had it and so has the sat nav DVD drive, so the question is are the led or non led lci lights a direct fit? Cheers Gaz

Yes it's an se one with the sports seats and sports suspension I really like the look of the aero kits if I change the grill it will be for a silver one, there is way too much black on the car as it is hoping the aero kit will break it up a bit I also after some nicer wheels probably the y spoke ones

Hi guys a bit of an update got car back from garage today and it seems to have been cured I only took it a short run the temp needle still only sits on the first white marker but when under load or idling for a while it will go to half way and stay there until I drive but no more spluttering or ...

Cheers for the input guys I've sent it back to the garage I don't think it's the head gasket because it went from Nottinghamshire to Blackpool for my daughters dance competitions over the weekend and it hasn't used a drop of coolant still running like a bag of spanners on idle though

Hi thanks for the feed back I've had the head gasket looked at and the garage said that seems fine and the cream is due to not driving enough miles as the car only does about 6 miles a day most of the time I do have one of those BMW 6.1.0. Scanners but Carn't say that I'm that confident with it
