Jobs a gud in! Took the radio out to check the little 10a fuse at the bck and it was blown! So I was wondering why then I heard sommat rattling around inside, my 2 year old twins had posted penny's through the cassette slot so bck happy again

When I put the fuses bck in I can hear the cd changer cycling through the cd's! It's a weird one!

Yes I av no sat nav just radio and it just turned off then on and now doesn't turn on at all but the BC display works and also the time works on the front! Tried pulling the fuses to reset! Is there a modual in the boot floor or sommat?

Ok thanks. I've had this apart before and remember the micro switch. Must need a new one?? R they genuine only do u know? Also my radio just stopped working, any ideas? Checked fuses and ok!

I've just spoke to the dealer again who sold me the fluid and he says it's texamatic 7045e fluid and is the fluid for my x5 so I asked him if it was long life and he said he didn't know coz he cudnt speak German! Tw*t!! Should I fu*k it off for another brand or wot? Thanks guys

On the chart posted above mt sticker number on the bottom of pan is 83220026922 and says to use etl 7045e! Is lt71141 different fluid to this? I'm getting confused now! Haha

I've just spoke to another BMW dealer in Crewe and they said I need etl 7045e and it's £23+vat. I'm gonna ring another now to see wot they say!

Can I use u as a reference then jason? I need to ring them again and ask them exactly wot oil they have given me! So it should be LT 71141 and is this fluid clear? Thanks

I spoke to the dealers yesterday and they doubled checked the fluid they gave me and guess wot? They said its the right one! It's dexron ii fluid for the GM gearbox.I told them I've been on this forum and been told that the fluid should b clear and about £30 a litre, do I just accept it or do I try ...

I've googled it and it is engine oil but I fetched the fluid from the dealer in my own containers and it was red oil they gave me, engine oil ain't red! But my mechanic wasn't to know wot colour the correct fluid was coz BMW supplied it! I even gave them the green sticker number on the bottom of the ...

A local garage did it for me! But I went to BMW to make sure I got the correct fluid for it coz I've heard it can destroy ur box if u don't get the right stuff?! I'm fuming now!
