Replacing EGR valve - Tips?

Facelift EGRs have a slightly different design, I had a newer type EGR Delete sent in error! The end where the hose goes has a raised angled flange on.

Re: e53 d facelift : self level suspension inactive ?

I've had this a couple of times in the 7 years of ownership, it was the fuse.

Rear Wiper.

Hi all, having problems with the rear wiper on 2002 E53, only working occasionally. Read on here it could be a broken wire, but I was wondering if if could be faulty relay? If so do you know where it is located?

Re: Self level susp. Help!!

Its happened to me a couple of times, I had a blown fuse. The fuse you want is in the boot, right hand side cubby hole. Worth a check.

[quote="CondorX5"] The aircon in the V8 is absolutely wonderful........I run mine all year round, always have done, and have not had to refill yet - my 4.8is is a 2005. Re: Replacing EGR valve - Tips?

I bypassed mine, '02 MY. Had hesitation issues so thought it could be the EGR. Took it off and cleaned it first, no joy! So fitted the bypass. It turned out to be the inline fuel pump under the floor. I couldn't be bothered changing the EGR back so have just run with it. No probs after 7-8k. No real ...

Re: X5 3.0i petrol gearbox query

My '02 3.0d does this also. After driving a couple of miles its fine. My indy told me that it was a hydraulic issue after checking to see if there was any codes stored. He said that there is a pump on the outside of the gearbox that circulates the fluid and that sometimes starts to fail, apparently ...
