Re: What's it worth?
I might still check in every now and then, but if I did that for every car I've had I'd never have chance to stare at autotrader for as long as i do?

Re: What's it worth?
I'm afraid, this will most likely be my last post on here, as the X6 has gone & its left a huge hole on the driveway... :( But onwards on upwards, my new astravan is coming tomoro!!! (By the way managed to realise just under £35000 as a private sale, for those who like to keep tabs in the markets)

What's it worth?
Still thinking of changing out if the X6, although not urgently....
It's a 2010, xdrive40d, media and dynamic packs, sunroof, not sure what else but it's only done 14000miles..and it's got the service pack til 2015
Cheapest on autotrader is £37950
What are they really selling for?

Re: 5 Series GT...? Anyone driven one..?
Looking at a 530d M Sport GT over the coming weekend. It's got the adaptive ride dampers and the Top Gear review surprisingly rates it....! And I'm hoping it can be both comfy and sporty when my moods dictate...?
Anyway, I'll post my findings when I can...

Re: 5 Series GT...? Anyone driven one..?
The run flat debate is well known, but where the X6 seems to fall down is that it is just too damn stiff for its own weight, I had run flats on my previous 325 M Sport Touring, and was nowhere near the hard drive that the 6 is. I did a return trip from Leicester to Blackpool yesterday, I was ...

Re: 5 Series GT...? Anyone driven one..?
There are a few late 2011-early2012 530d M Sport GTs kicking about for mid 30k!
Which is want I'd hope for the x6, so maybe no cost change, but nearly two years newer!

5 Series GT...? Anyone driven one..?
As the title says, has anyone got any experience of the 5 Series GT model? Think the X6 maybe on its way after recent issues and starting to think of alternatives. It's nearly 100% going to be a BMW, but need added comfort as I have always found the X6 too twitchy and way too firmly sprung, the GT ...

Re: It's not sounding good....!
Thanks for the reply.. I'm taking the car in at 3pm, so see what they say! I have had a towbar fitted by others, just hope they don't use that to wriggle out of it... I know they've done the damage but it's proving it!!! Looks to me like they've dropped the exhaust off its rubber hangers and it's ...

Re: It's not sounding good....!
Back on thread topic: The x6 seems to be behaving itself, so that's good but I have found damage to the rear bumper, >:( where the exhaust pipes pop through, below each pipe the silver paint has been badly scratched, exposing the bare plastic!!!! Question 1 to the wise, would they have had to remove ...

Re: It's not sounding good....!
The electrics have hopefully been sorted, with electronic ignition etc... But yeah, who nicked the brakes!!!! They are shocking!!! Will be sorted though, new discs and calipers for the front and rear drum overhaul kits, less than £300! And I'll enjoy doing it! Think I'll pay myself £140 an hour w ...

Re: It's not sounding good....!
Hopefully the final update of this saga!!! The X6 is back on the drive after nearly two weeks away, its had the Rear Diff and Transfer Box replaced... Not sure on total repair bill but needless to say glad for warranties at this point in time. But whilst the X6 was away, i have been considering ...
