i had same problem with rear passenger window
worked no and off all through warranty told by
dealers nothing wrong when it went in 2 years
later stopped completly indy tested relay stuck
open in basic module left it be.

I had to replace my lever last mot, not to difficult
remove drivers seat only 4 bolts unclip wiring plug
gives a lot more access there's a link some where
on here to remove centre console then you'll see
the handbrake lever.A new part from dealers was
£78 very fiddly but do able
