Re: Leaking brake pipes
Hi, No dismantling is allowed in the MOT to inspect components.. That said, you do have to pay extra attention to BMW brake pipes because there are a few common areas which seem to catch the dreaded rot. On E46's where the flexy from the rear trailing arms joins the steel pipes in front of the coil ...

The tyre truth will be revealed....maybe!
Had our tyre supply rep in yesterday and due to European law as of 1st Nov 2012 all tyres will have a sticker on them that looks like the one on all the white goods.
It will show fuel efficiency, wet grip and exterior noise.
Will be interesting to see if budgets are any good or not.

Re: Budget Tyres
I sell tyres and I've got a new set of Accelera's (20") on mine.
They are narrow for the size though.
Nice and quiet compared to my previous nexens.
Most of the budget brands are backed by the major players, I have a list at work of who owns who and it makes for interesting reading!!

Re: Fitting a Westfalia Detachable Towbar & Dedicated Electr
No it is a Westfalia part number.
Westfalia make the towing equipment for BMW and others.
BMW could probably supply it in one of their BMW branded boxes for a stupid price.

Re: Fitting a Westfalia Detachable Towbar & Dedicated Electr

Anyway I wondered if any forum members could give me some info on the scanner 1.4.0 and its capability. I have at the ...
