Re: Any advice for buying used
[quote=""AW8""]Have considered RX300 SE-L in past myself before, ( prior to buying the X5 as well as during ownership)...Mark Levison HI-Fi & reverse cam as standard on SE-L so nice spec out of the box. I have faith in Toyota having had 6 in the family & all pretty cost efective in ownership ...

Looking for: 3rd-row seating Sun roof Satnav and media pak Reversing camera heated front seats Napa leather seats would be nice. Nice to have: BMW Professional sound. I only drive 5K miles per year and I guess I'll ...

Re: X5 slight disappointment
I guess since there is no cloth option anymore, the Nevada leather is the "new" cloth. Makes sense, but doesn't help sell a +50K 40d M Sport in the dealer's showroom. Especially since most of the other cars I saw in the showroom also had Dakota. I don't think the 7 series example had anything better ...

X5 slight disappointment
Hi, At the risk of angering the natives of this forum and forever being branded a heretic, I want to express that I am slightly disappointed at the interior of the X5. I have been psyching myself up to make an X5 purchase and I finally made my way to the dealer to check out the 3rd row of an X5 ...

Re: 7-seater, any good????
Are there any sources of leg room measurements for the three rows? Perhaps in comparison with other 7 seater cars/SUVs? If a standard economy airline seat has 30-31 inches of leg room, it would become easier to visualise how much room there actually is back there.

Re: How to justify X5 purchase?
Thanks for everyone's reply! I greatly appreciate it. I guess it mostly boils down to a heart-vs-wallet thing. Heat says, yes! Wallet says, maybe. ;) I'm not sure I can do anything about the punitive 50% tax rate since everything is PAYE. If there is a way to deal with that, I'm all ears! :D I ...

How to justify X5 purchase?
Hi, I look around and see soo many X5s. They are not cheap. Considering the average salary in London in less than 30K, how can people afford to drive one? Am I jealous? Yes. I'm a bit perplexed; my self, I'm in the highest rate 50% tax bracket, but I am finding it difficult to justify a 50K ...
