Time to say goodbye..

Due to drive to work changing from a 44 mile daily run to a 5 mile run we have sold the le mans X5. I just want to thank everyone who has helped me on this club website, [THANK YOU]..hope it goes from strength to strength..cheers folks..have to sell my winter set of wheels n tyres now so I can reach ...

Aye , bought a mountain bike to try cycling to work ,...weather permitting, cheers about our job been doing it now for nearly 27 yrs. Well worth it.

Wife and I notified to day that the guy we help [ he,s autistic and has severe learning disabilities] was moving to another town where he was allocated a ground floor flat. So instead of a forty mile round trip per day its going to be.....FIVE. He s moving to Banff which is only five minutes away ...

Looks like a mirror finish on that one, I use , snow foam, megs car wash, blackfire polish and sealant, in between I use the speed detailer or a quik wax..

New windscreen

Our windscreen has one chip in it and a few long scratches on it . It ll be done through our Insurance but Im just wondering if theres any other infor mation that they need over the phone apart from its a 55plate and X5 , :?

Tyres on the 20,s are 6 months old , so plenty tread on them , outside temp was up to 11 today and 5 for through the night. Saw on the news that parts of England are in drought conditions..... what s going on with the weather...probably have to put the winters back on in July ..

Right thats the 20,s back on and the winter set stored in the garage... 40 mile round trip a day for work so we ll see what happens .

Yup no snow in Banffshire either, washed the x5 and I even thought of taking the winter set off and putting the 20 s back on..

After 6 returns to the garage where we bought it , its finally fixed. Whole new set of bushes and suspension arm replaced. Every week since we got it theres been something, so hope thats it and we can enjoy driving it :)

Rear suspension [squeak]

Help.... a loud squeaking coming from the drivers /side rear, while driving and if I rock it while its parked. Its still under warranty but just want an idea what it might be before we take it back.E53 55reg 3.0d le mans. Cheers Ali..
