BMW too good to be true?

There's a lot of this about lately. The seller also had no previous eBay reviews so seemed obvious he was a fraud! However some of these seem so genuine they will even trap a seasoned buyer as my mate is one of the biggest wheeler dealers in the area and even he almost swallowed a similar scam on a ...

Insurance : Laugh or cry?

I've just renewed my insurance with Admiral but only after challenging them why it was £100 cheaper with Elephant who are part of the same group - EUI Insurance. The sales guy was able to access my Elephant quote via the Admiral system and do a price match. What really made me cross was that when I ...

Leather Care.....which products do you use?

The price of the gliptone on their website is very reasonable compared to other products, will definitely try it next time based on the rave reviews here!

hi all ( & non starter query)

I had a problem with cold starting when it would take up to 5 mins to get going in the morning. When most dealers would probably have started by replacing the fuel pump my local Indy spent time tracking the problem down to the relays that control the first pressure pump and replacement of the two ...

Leather Care.....which products do you use?

On the old forum someone recommended the BMW Leather Care cream which has given my seats a great finish. I bought some genuine stuff on eBay which was about a third cheaper than the stealer. Cheers

Whats the weight

Hi, can't give the full answer but I tow a twin axle at approx 1650kg with the missus full wardrobe, so prob touching 1800kgs and it is rock solid in all conditions. Did check the figures in detail before buying and seem to remember that any caravan below 2000kgs was fine. Matt Sent from my iPhone ...

Poor starting .

Mine was taking anything up to 5 or 6 attempts to start and the local Indy replaced the relays on the pressure pumps which cost £185. Starts first turn now and much cheaper than either of the pressure pumps!

Servicing in South West Wales

Hi

I've just had the Oil Service and Brake Fluid Change lights come on the X5, just wondering whether anyone could recommend a good independent in the South West Wales area? Am out of warranty (so can avoid the dealers!) and am located in the Carmarthen area.

Cheers and thanks in advance!
