Agreed . The no nonsense approach.

Budget Tyres
Pick the tyre that suits your needs and budget. When the time comes my X5 will be getting part worn or budget and either will do just fine. I don't see the point in spending fortunes on tyres for a car that will be piddling about town or have an occasional blast along the motorway. My Z4 will get ...

Re: Rear subframe bushes
Like anything else once you have done the job a few times it's not that difficult but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as a 1st DIY.

Re: Rear subframe bushes
My cars were all were replaced with OEM by my regular dealer. My MOT is due in 3 months so if the ch ...

Rear subframe bushes
Anyone tried these??

It does say 4 year warranty but in real life anything bought on ebay only has a warranty until the last day you can leave feedback. I'd be happy if they lasted say 18 months.

Re: Looking for some 'scanner' help if possible.
The issue, if there is one, is the delay in posting from China, when if all scanners are supposedly equal, a UK sourced one would be quicker. I regard myself as suitably chastised but thank you for the picture anyway.
Mine arrived in about 10 days. I would doubt if ...

Tyre pressure sensors
I bought my car with 1 sensor missing and the warning light on ( previous owner told me it had been removed) so like yourself I priced up the parts looking at the worst case of all 4 sensors being needed and found it to expensive. The scanner gives you an option page for check control messages that ...
