Don't know of a cure. You can switch it over to the voice recognising the speed camera's which is a pain in the area where I live because there are so many of them. Also, if I remember, something comes up in french language when the voice warning is activated.

If you have the sat nav disc with speed camera pictures on, then it will quieten the radio every time you approach a camera. This happens if you don't have the function enabled. Hope this is of help.

Had same problem as above member's.Has been like it for approx. 1 week. Decided to have a look today. Did as Penny said,removed the screen surround with flat blade, (not too heavy handed). Mine has got 4 screw's holding the screen in. I can only describe them as mini torx screw's. With these screw's ...
